Dried & Arranged [Dutch: Gedroogd en Geschikt] –  A rich and varied book about dried flowers by Elke Vanderper from the Ghent (Belgium) flower workshop ‘Into the Wild’.

Besides sustainable fresh bouquets, Elke Vanderper focuses more and more on creations with dry flowers, mostly locally grown, completely natural (i.e. not chemically bleached or dyed) and preferably dried by herself.

Ecology and sustainability are key. For example, Elke explains how to start with a (modest) flower picking garden and where you can buy sustainable dried flowers, which flowers you can pick, how to dry flowers in the right way, how to store them optimally and how to best process the often delicate flowers. In the workshop section of the book, she gives step-by-step instructions on how to make some thirty special bouquets, floral crowns, glass bell creations, personal floral arrangements and interior decorations for home or special occasions. These are lush and casual Into the Wild-style creations for every season!
