Bas Meeuws is a Dutch digital floral artist. Flower by flower he assembles his still life, but he does it digitally: the basis for Meeuws’s monumental works is digital photographs of individual flowers.

They hint at the Dutch Masters of the seventeenth century: their sense of luxury, but also their eye for the transient. His photographs therefore have an old-fashioned beauty and at the same time they are radically contemporary. With his floral still life projects, Meeuws became a sensation in the art world. He is represented by Dutch, Taiwanese and Indian galleries and exhibits from Amsterdam to New Delhi.
